Situated in the centre of Cannes, the apartment is ideally located in a gated community on Avenue Isola Bella, a few streets back from La Croisette.
The Palais des Festivals et des Congres is less than 10 minutes walk away. Boulevard de La Croisette (the famous seafront promenade) is only a few minutes away. Rue D'Antibes (the main shopping street) again is just minutes away.
There are numerous restaurants, bars and clubs within easy walking distance of the apartment. The apartment area is very quiet at night but the streets nearby have lovely patisseries/bakeries (for fresh croissants and baguettes in the morning). There is a fresh produce market less than 100 metres away, where you can buy fresh fish, meat, cheeses, salad, fruit and vegetables.
Nice is the nearest airport and by car, it is approximately 25 minutes away, a little longer in rush hour traffic.

By coach:
There is a coach service in operation between Nice airport and Cannes. The coaches leave directly outside the Arrivals area in Nice airport and depart from the Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) area in Cannes. The coaches run every 30 minutes, from 8am to 8pm and the cost is approx 14 one way / 24 return. This is a great service but if your flight is arriving especially early or late, check the timetable of service online beforehand by double clicking the following link:

Or you can get a local bus, from the same place immediately outside the arrivals hall in Nice airport, which travels along the coast road through Cagnes sur Mer, which costs @ 1.40 but it does take about an hour and twenty minutes!
By pre-arranged airport transfer:
Taxis from Nice airport to Cannes or from Cannes to Nice airport can be very expensive depending on the time of day and number of people. The cost can be as much as 85 or more. Pre-booking an airport transfer is a more cost-effective alternative if you do not wish to use the coach service between Nice and Cannes. Agree on a price at the time of booking, as it may vary depending on time/day of week/ number of passengers.

By car:
You can rent a car from any of the usual rental agencies at Cannes Airport. While some rental companies have reception desks in Terminal 1, you will need to take the airport shuttle (which runs constantly between the two airport terminals) to Terminal 2 to actually pick up the car.
Directions from Nice Airport:
FOLLOW HIGHWAY A8 TOWARDS AIX-EN-PROVINCE Have 2.60 ready for the toll fee payable enroute.
Then take Exit 42, clearly marked for Cannes. It is then about 5kms to Cannes. Keep to the right and follow the sign for Cannes Centre. You will travel down along Boulevard Carnot which is a long, straight boulevard with lots of traffic lights. At the end of this street, you will come to a large junction - take a left turn onto Boulevard DAlsace, then take the first left turn onto Boulevard de La Republique. Drive straight down this road and take the third right onto Avenue Isola Bella. Drive up about 50 yards until you see, on your right-hand side, black gates with black railings at the top set back a little from the road. You will see the sign for Residence Isola Bella.
